Szolnok got a little boring so Coach, the boys, Emily and I decided to take an excursion to Romania. Andy heard that there was lovely pools and spas in the area so it was to be a pleasant trip. We drove for two hours in a non air condition VW Van and then reached the border of Hungary and Romania.
As soon as we entered Romania, Hungary began looking quite loverly. There were massive pipes running along the road and huge abandoned factories and steel mills all over.
After going through the Romanian projects and almost being hijacked by a bunch of gypsies (no joke) we entered the Centrum. Many of the buildings were under extreme construction.
We finally reached what was suppossed to be a spa....and...well..it was mildly dissapointing. The four Star El President Hotel had a pool with a 1/2 inch thick scum line across it. We decided to enjoy the rolling Romanian hills and the sun and sunbath under the ghetto Romanian sun anyway. What else did we have to do?
On our way out we were reminded of home...
and we saw a motorcycle crash.
All in all...I would not go back to Romania, at least Oradea Romania. However, I'm glad to have four stamps in the passport.
Cheers

A romanian :)
Haha, you people, at least bother to read the article properly before posting comments.
The person did NOT like Oradea.
Well, can't blame her, the quality of services here (in Romania) is well under par. And the urban (or countryside:)) landscape could benefit from some massive facelift.
Still, Romania can be a fascinating place, if you are really (reaaaally) stubborn to discover the fun parts.
Haha.
A cynical Romanian.
