The Dream Continues...

Its been a while, I see.

I have much to fill you all in on, but I will keep it brief.
My life looks drastically different since my last entry.
I'm no longer training for the Olympics, or kayaking. It was a fantastic experience which I've taken amazing things from...but at this point I'm realizing my passion remains elsewhere.

I'm currently teaching Crossfit to an amazing bunch of kick ass athletes every morning at 6am at Throwdown Elite Training Center. I'm also working for an athletic wear company called lululemon Athletic. The experience of coaching athletes instead of being one is absolutely rewarding in a completely different sense. I've quickly adopted a coaches pride and my athletes feel like part of me. There hasn't been one days where I've woken up at 5:30am and wished I could go back to sleep.

On to other things...
My passion still remains creating opportunities for sports partcipation for underprivildged children. Taking that into account I'm begining a new project.
The three components that are most vivid in my life right now is Crossfit, Yoga, and Goal Setting. Goal Setting has been an amazing tool I've used in my life. I've learned how to set goals, reach goals, and how to deal when you don't reach goals. Obviously no one is ever a master at goal setting because we're always expanding, however, I consider myself a master of the basics.

My idea is to create a team of people to lead Goal Setting Workshops for underprivildged youth, with additional fun stuff like leading yoga and crossfit.
I currently have a team 5 people and I'm looking for more!
I have a meeting with an Area Director of the Boys and Girls Club tomorrow to create a gameplan.

I attract many great people in my life which is why I'm posting here. Come be a part of this and make a huge difference. If you create one goal with one child and he/she is inspired, their life is lit up and so are you!
